Stainless Steel Wire Balustrades with WINDSOR Stainless Steel Posts
Stainless Steel Posts and fittings are available for Decking in either grade 304 (standard) or marine grade (316). Marine grade should be used within 5 miles of the sea or around swimming pools. Stainless Steel Wire is always marine grade 316.
The stainless steel posts and rails are available in either a 42.4mm diameter or 48.3mm. The 42.4mm diameter posts are most suitable for balustrading with a total length under 15 metres. Larger decks should use posts and rails with a 48.3mm diameter. This is recommended both for strength and appearance.
The Stainless Steel Wire must be connected in straight lines. The wire can pass through intermediate Stainless Steel Posts and is joined to the posts by an End Fixing Unit. The End Fixing Unit consists of a Dome Head Stud Terminal, a lock nut and a Threaded Terminal Connector which is clamped (swaged) onto the wire.
A Tensioner is required if the Decking wire length exceeds 4 metres. Two Tensioners are required if the wire length exceeds 15 metres. The maximum length is 25 metres for a single run. The Tensioner will replace the End Fixing Unit.

This Stainless Steel Wire Balustrade with WINDSOR Stainless Steel Posts is only available on level Decking.

Windsor Stainless Steel Wire with Stainless Steel Posts Assembly Instructions
These assembly instructions only relate to horizontal stainless steel balustrading. We are unable to supply stainless steel balustrading for steps.
1. Erect Stainless Steel Upright Posts.
2. Put Steel Cover Plate over base plate.
3. Attach Saddles/Universal Fittings to pre-drilled rails with screws (supplied).
4. Assemble and glue rail plus saddles and/or elbows into top of Upright Posts.
5. Then attach stainless steel wire by
a) Attaching End Fixing Unit/Tensioner Unit to one external pre-drilled Upright Post.
b) Thread wire through Intermediary Posts.
c) Attach second End Fixing Unit/Tensioner to other external pre-drilled Upright Post.
d) Tighten End Fixing Units/Tensioners.
